Meet Fritz, a 2-year-old Italian Greyhound who started out as a foster but stole his family's hearts and now has a wonderful forever home!
Fritz is owned by Abba and Phillip L. of Mansfield. Fritz loves going to the dog park and running with dogs of all sizes. He lavishes in hiding under the blankets at night, only to wake with his head on the pillow and his body neatly tucked in under the blankets. He cherishes his beauty sleep; don't move him while he is sleeping, or he will make a deep moaning sound. Fritz's favorite treats are pig ears and chicken.
Fritz first arrived as a foster from Texas Italian Greyhound Rescue. His first family was unable to care for his special needs due to his megaesophagus (or Mega-E, as it is sometimes called) condition. "His stay with us was supposed to temporary," said Abba. "However, he became our 'Mr. Right' and we quickly adopted him. He has taken on the role of big brother to all of our new fosters. He sleeps with them, shows them the best place to sunbath in the yard, and shares his food without so much as a hesitation." Good dog!
Congratulations to Fritz for being the DallasDogLife Dogs of the Week!
