Meet Maya, a five-year-old "really mixed" breed whose favorite activities are not playing fetch, chasing squirrels, or obedience training.

Maya is owned by Mike and Vicki B. of Corinth. Her favorite activities are sleeping, hiding from people, and doing exactly as she pleases. Her pet peeves are "pretty much everything, except being fed and having someone available to pet her at the time and place of her choosing." Strangely, Maya doesn't do any tricks but she does like to supervise any activity that involves running water in a sink.

Maya does like to play one game: Hide and Seek. She's not too concerned with the seeking part of the game, but she is a master Hider. In fact, she can hide for days before she's spotted. As long as there is food for her, she can keep the game going indefinitely.
