Meet Mandi, a rescued Boston Terrier mix who was days away from being put to sleep and is now loving life in her forever home!

Mandi is owned by Adam and Stephanie P. of Lakewood. This beautiful girl was saved from euthanasia and brought to a no-kill shelter, where Stephanie met her. Mandi's favorite thing to do is give kisses. She's a total lover and lives only to be pet and loved by her owners. When her big fur-sister, a German Shepherd, runs outside after a squirrel in the yard, Mandi will either run right with her or steal one of her toys. Mandi doesn't have a favorite treat because she loves to eat everything! If her owners are in the kitchen, Mandi is right there too.

Because Mandi is a rescue dog, her owners do not know her age or what her life was like before they found her, but they know that she does not like loud noises...even laughing! "As soon as one of us laughs or makes a loud noise, she runs right over and starts kissing us and pawing at us to pet her," says Stephanie. "We think she believes she's being a "peace keeper"...even when we are laughing at America's Funniest Home Videos!"

Stephanie says, "Mandi is always so cold that she has more clothes than my husband! She has to sleep under our covers at the very end of the bed until she gets too hot in the middle of the night and slowly makes her way to the top where she ends up sleeping with her head on the pillow. She has a silly habit of 'chasing her tongue' and gets so excited when she sees other dogs that she jumps straight up into the air like she's on a trampoline."

While Mandi is one lucky pooch, her owners feel just as lucky. "Even though she has cherry eyes and a bad heart, she's brought more love to our house than we ever could have imagined," says Stephanie. "She is truly an amazing dog and I couldn't imagine her not being in our lives."
