Meet Mya, an energetic 3 1/2-year-old American Eskimo Dog with a fondness for belly rubs!

Mya is owned by Krissa and Jim D. of North Dallas. She is the fur-sister to Tahoe and Sasha, two former DallasDogLife Dogs of the Week!

Mya loves running, barking, jumping, playing with Sasha, and shaking her toys enthusiastically. Her pet peeves are Tahoe, getting up early, and strangers. She also doesn't like to get brushed, as she has a very sensitive stomach. Her favorite treat is peanut butter.

Krissa says, "Mya, like many Eskies, loves to roll over on her back for a belly rub. She is incredibly energetic and always exudes a happy-go-lucky attitude. We adopted Mya as a playmate for Sasha from the Farmer's Branch pound. When we went in, she was lying nicely on the floor and we thought she'd be a low energy dog. We got her in the car, and she literally ran around the walls of the doors and windows all the way home. She does not understand what low energy means!"
