Winter Weather Medley: Be sure to wipe off your dog's feet and underbelly when he comes in after being outside. Your dog may have stepped in antifreeze, salt, or other irritating or chemicals that could be dangerous if he licks it off. If your dog's outdoor activity decreases during the winter months, be sure to increase his exercise indoors so he doesn't gain extra weight. Also remember that puppies do not tolerate colder temperatures as well as adult dogs, so housetraining may be difficult. Consider paper training your pup inside.
