Meet Zinny, a 7-year-old Great Dane who has overcome a traumatic past to be a loving pet who gets all affection she can handle!
Zinny is owned by Michelle T. and lives in the Lochwood area of East Dallas. Zinny loves to lay in the sun and work on her tan. She also likes to fake out her brothers by barking at the trees as if there are squirrels in them. That is how she gets them off her sofa. She is not a fan of baths and really hates having her feet touched. Zinny's favorite treat is cat food.
Michelle says, "Zinny was a foster of mine. She had been badly mistreated. She was beaten with a bat when she was a puppy and now suffers from a permanently dislocated back hip. She also has cigar and cigarette scars on her backside. After years of working with her she has turned into the silliest, happiest, greatest Dane ever. She does crazy zoomies whenever I come home and loves to 'whoo hoo' at me when she thinks I need to pay attention to her. She is such a love and is amazing with kids and the other animals. She is even getting over her fear of strange men. She loves to back up to the sofa and sit down with her front legs on the floor. Very Dane of her."
Congratulations to Zinny for being the DallasDogLife Dog of the Week!
