Meet Ted, an 8-year-old Golden Retriever & Basset Hound mix who loves affection...and makes sure he gets it!

Ted is owned by Krissa D. of North Dallas and enjoys walking, sleeping, and being rubbed. He loves peanut butter and does not like other dogs coming through the dog door and scaring him.

"As you can see Ted looks like a Golder Retriever, with the legs cut off," says Krissa. "He has all the size and weight of a Golden. He also has the intelligence of the Golden and the stubbornness of the Bassett. He adores being petted, and will hold you down on the couch by pressing his head against your leg when you try to get up or quit rubbing on him."
