Meet Skooter, a 6-year-old Dachshund who stays active despite his injury!

Skooter is owned by Sueann of Mesquite and is one tough doggie! He had to have back surgery due to ruptured discs (most likely from the "flying leaps off of anything he could climb up on") but still likes to go outside in his wheelchair-cart. His owner Sueann says he likes to parade around in his "We Are Not Disposable" license plate and loves to play fetch by rolling his ball back and forth to others with his nose. He Skooter particularly likes to see if you will fetch the ball yourself if it rolls too far!

Skooter is not a fan of thunder and doesn't like it when Sueann leaves and doesn't take him. He also doesn't like sharing his dinner, but who does? Skooter does, however, enjoy opening Christmas presents. Skooter loves his squeaky toys and likes to hide them in blankets (actually, he prefers if someone else hides them) and then dig them out.
