Meet Penelope, a 3-year old Standard Poodle with an obsession with squirrels!

Penelope is owned by Gwen & Jack T. of Richardson Heights and is approximately 3 years old. Penelope loves going to dog parks. They usually play at the parks in Plano and McKinney but their currently their favorite is Unleashed so they can stay cool! Penelope is a tease at the dog park and loves to get the other dogs' attention and then run so they will chase her. She also loves Beggin' Strips, in limited quantities. Penelope loves anything and everything...except squirrels.

Gwen says, "If you say the word 'squirrel' she goes on point. We were having family pictures made and with a 10-year-old son and a dog, this was not an easy task for the photographer. I finally told the photographer to get us situated how she wanted us and once my son was focused, say the word 'squirrel' and Penelope would look into the camera. As promised, as soon as she said 'squirrel,' Penelope would snap to attention and look straight at the photographer. Unfortunately the photographer would start laughing each time she did it so it took several shots!!!"
