If you see a dog or cat inside a locked car, call 911 immediately. In Dallas, Fort Worth and most other cities, the police or fire department will respond quickly and are allowed to break a car's window to rescue the animal. You can also download fliers at www.mydogiscool.com that inform the public abut the danger of leaving a dog in a parked car and ask local stores to post them.
