If your dog likes to play with or chew on typical household items like socks or cardboard, use this to your advantage and recycle discarded or leftover items instead of throwing them away. Tie a few knots in an orphan sock if you can't find its mate to create a tug toy or give your dog the paper towel tube to chew after you've finished the roll.
