If your dog doesn't like to ride in the car, it could be because of a negative association with car rides such as vet or groomer visits. Try to get your dog to associate the car with positive feelings by slowly re-introducing her to the car and giving her treats when she walks willingly to the car, gets in the car by herself, and sits quietly in the car. Later, after she's comfortable, you can take her on a short ride and offer lots of praise and treats when the ride is over.
