During this holiday, make sure the following items are not within your pet's reach: poisonous plants including lilies, poinsettas, holly, and mistletoe; plastic gift bags; candles; and certain foods, such as onions, grapes, raisins, yeast, macadamia nuts, and chocolate. Keep the number of the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (888-426-4435) in a convenient location.
