Now that Fall is here, leaves and acorns are covering the sidewalks and can cause issues when walking your dog. Broken acorn and pecan shells can become lodged in your dog's paws or even crack their paw pads. Watch your dog for limping or signs of discomfort. Be cautious of rocks or other sharp objects that can be hidden under fallen leaves. Remember, our dogs' feet are not protected by shoes and extra care must be taken to keep them injury-free.
