Did you know that an ingredient in sugar-free gum can be highly dangerous for your dog? Xylitol, found in many sugarless gums, can cause severe illness when ingested by dogs. If your pooch is the type to gobble first and ask questions later, make sure that any sugar-free gum is kept in a place where your dog can't get to it. Zip up those purses!
