Traci Murdock, CPDT, is a Master Trainer, Canine Behavior Specialist, & Certified Pet Dog Trainer. She began her training career in 2000 in self defense after adopting an Australian Cattle Dog. She has personal experience in the ordeals we go through as dog owners, and has worked with many different breeds and dog/owner situations to make life with our companions more pleasant and stress-free. Her volunteer work with shelters and rescue groups gives her special insight into the issues that adopted dogs may have when bringing them into our homes.
Traci’s competition in dog sports and experience in print and film media has allowed her to broaden the set of skills and tools that she uses to train dogs and their humans. Lessons learned while training for Flyball, Agility, Rally, Obedience, and Conformation, Herding, Freestyle, Frisbee, and Therapy work translate into enhanced methods of teaching pets to be better companions and family members AND allow us to have fun with them. Traci also created the Hollywood Dog classes and workshops to teach pet dog owners the skills necessary and provide direct access to allow them to break into show business. These methods also encourage flexibility when training the wide variety of dog types and breeds that complicate simpler training systems.

By taking what I learn from study, competition, seminars and workshops, and working with nationally recognized experts in the fields of training, behavior, and nutrition, then incorporating it into my curriculum and methods of teaching, I can tailor my training programs to each individual situation and goals. I help open the lines of communication between the dog and owner and use a Train the Trainer process to set in motion a lifetime of positive learning that allows the team to expand their horizons and accomplish any goal they set without frustration or obstacles."
