Hello from DallasDogLife!
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend and that the rain didn't dampen anyone's plans too much. Weather reports say that the rain will continue this week, so take advantage of the cooler temperatures and spend some time outsude with your pups. Just don't forget, the humidity can be a bit hard for Brachycephalic (short-faced) dogs to handle so keep a watchful eye on them.
I'm sad to report that lately, I've gotten several calls and inquiries from pet owners who have decided to rehome their pets. The reasons are varied, but in every case it's going to be a major upheaval for the dogs. I'm hoping that their stories have happy endings, because these dogs deserve to have a home where they are happy and healthy. Please check out the DDL Community page for the stories of Luigi and Sissy, two dogs that need new homes as soon as possible.
On to this week's updates!
