Happy Memorial Day! This holiday un-officially kicks off the summer season and while summer doesn't officially start until June 21, the temperatures are starting to climb into the 90s and we all need to be extra careful with our pets. Remember to carry bottled water (and bowls, if your dog is picky about drinking from his own dish) when you are out and about with your pet, exercise your pet in the early morning or late evening hours when temperatures are lower, and be careful that your dog isn't walking too much on hot concrete, which can lead to dry, cracked and painful paw pads for your pooch.

This group, run solely by volunteers, is committed to supporting and promoting the adoption of animals at the CSACCC, saving animals from euthanasia, provide financial assistance through community fundraising, and promote awareness about spaying and neutering.
