Paws Cause 2009 at Sambuca Uptown Print
Sunday, January 25 2009, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm by admin Hits : 498

What better way to start off the New Year than having fun while helping our four-legged friends? Save the Date now for Sunday, January 25th when Sambuca restaurant in Uptown graciously opens their doors for Paws Cause 2009, our casual cocktail event benefiting the SPCA of Texas Village Fair Spay/Neuter clinic.

Plans are already in the works to ensure a great evening full of fabulous food, fantastic libations and a wide array of auction items sure to entice both the human and pet loving instincts in us all. Add to this our ever popular Bone Appetit raffle, designer pet bed silent auction, and the opportunity to purchase our always popular Paws Cause Calendar and you have what promises to be a “fur”tastic party!!!

As you may know, Paws Cause specifically benefits the SPCA’s Village Fair Spay/Neuter Clinic located in South Dallas. Through our Paws Cause friends’ generous contributions in 2008, we raised more than $220,000 providing the SPCA of Texas the ability to offer services to more animals than ever before.

Please join with other like-minded, compassionate animal lovers and business leaders from throughout the Metroplex that are dedicated to supporting this effort. Each dollar you give stays right here in Dallas and goes directly to the clinic’s operating budget, as well as a special endowment fund for the future. Ensure that you are included in the ranks of the generous sponsors and donors who recognize the ever present need to provide responsible care for all our furry friends in the Dallas area.
Location: Sambuca - Uptown

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs.
