Highland Park Village Dog Walk

The SPCA of Texas will feature adoptable pets at the Highland Park Village Dog Walk on Saturday, September 13 from noon to 4 p.m. located in the Center Court of Highland Park Village. In addition, Haynsworth Photography will capture your first photo with your new family member and Kiehl's will be on site with their array of pet friendly products. University Animal Hospital veterinarian, Dr. Sharon Cleghorn, will be available to answer questions and provide important information.

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs.
