On March 27th, the DFW Humane Society and the City of Irving will be hosting the grand opening of the new Irving Animal Care Campus. 

The Irving Animal Care Campus will set itself apart from traditional animal care facilities with its adoption mall atmosphere that will allow pets to be showcased in a more attractive setting. Additional amenities will include adoption pods with open-area kennels, training areas for staff and volunteers, and outside shade structures. The facility also will feature state-of-the-art veterinary equipment - rare to city-operated animal care facilities. Adjacent to the facility will also be the city's first dog park which will be open to the public.
