Elaine Turner Celebrates Puppy Love this Valentine’s Day 2010

Dallas – January 28, 2010 – Renowned handbag and accessory designer Elaine Turner will celebrate Valentine’s Day with Puppy Love! The Elaine Turner boutique, in NorthPark Center, will host the Paws Cause 2010 Committee on Thursday, February 11th from 6 – 8 p.m., with twenty-percent of the day’s sales benefiting the organization. Guests will enjoy champagne, desserts, a raffle and fabulous fashion – all in the name of man’s best friend.

Through her passion for style, Elaine Turner’s bold color and print fashions are fun and glamorous, appealing to women of all ages. Elaine Turner draws inspiration for her designs from her family, art, fashion, travel and interior design and most importantly, her dreams. “My ultimate goal is for the woman carrying one of my bags to feel like she has bought a piece of my dreams. I want the bag to conjure up images of travel, fantasy and escapism, i.e., lying on a private beach in the Caribbean,” explains Turner.

Jewelry designer Janna Conner will also present a trunk show on February 11. Conner’s handcrafted designs incorporate the highest quality Czechoslovakian glass, semi-precious stones, and natural minerals while drawing inspiration from California’s rich multicultural landscape. These proceeds will also benefit Paws Cause.

Paws Cause supports the SPCA’s Village Fair Spay/Neuter Clinic in South Dallas. Monies raised by the organization go directly to the clinic’s operating budget and a special endowment fund. With an estimated 40,000 homeless animals in the Dallas Metroplex alone, group provides more than 10,000 free and low cost procedures and other veterinary services to combat the overpopulation of undesirable animals. Paws Cause also raises funds through the sale of the 2010 Paws Cause Calendar, which feature pets of sponsors photographed by Haynsworth Photography.
