Linens for Animals.org just adopted a Animal Sanctuary and has to place over 50 dogs as they build a brand new sanctuary on 7 acres in south Dallas County. They've asked that we help them with that... so come show your support and find a wonderful new dog to provide them with a forever home. Linens For Animals.org Rescue is a Certified Domestic Non-Profit Texas Corporation all-volunteer canine and feline rescue organization dedicated to comforting and finding homes for the dogs and cats in Johnson County and surrounding communities. One of our primary goals is to minimize the euthanasia rate in our community. We are, above all, a NO KILL shelter, dedicated to serving life and ending suffering. www.LinensForAnimals.org We obtain a large trailer full of linens from local hospitals on a weekly basis. They are professionally washed and sanitized twice and are ready to bring comfort where needed! Our clients range from cats and dogs to beavers, opossums and even calves and chimpanzees! We also accept donations of dog food, cat food - any animal feed, in fact - plus toys, tennis balls, litter, etc. We redistribute everything we receive to deserving rescue groups, sanctuaries, shelters, independent rescuers and also the pets of Meals-on-Wheels recipients who need meals too! |

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs. |
