Come join The Great Dane Rescue of North Texas & Dirty Dawgz Plano for a Dog Wash & Low Cost Micro Chip Event! Saturday August 29th
10:00am- 6:00pm
At Dirty Dawgs Plano It is that time of year when needs are high and funds are low …sooooo on Saturday August 29th from 10:00am to 6:00pm there will be a Dawg wash and Chip clinic. Bring your dawg and pay for a self wash and one of our volunteers will wash your fur baby! A bath is just $14.50 and all tips go straight to rescue. A portion of the daily proceeds will be donated to GDR by Dirty Dawgz! Micro Chipping is a great way to protect your pet should they get lost. Inserted under the skin it provides your contact information when scanned by a shelter or veterinarian. Chipping is a low $20 and a chip and bath $30! Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs. |
