Dog owners are invited to bring their pets to Terrace Pool on Saturday, August 22 fron 11am to 4pm for a "Dog Splash Day." The Richardson AnimaLuv organization and the City of Richardson are producing the event with sponsorships provided by Sunbelt Pools, Albertsons, Petco, and Plano Arapaho Veterinary Clinic.

There is a $5 admission fee for each dog and owners are admitted free. There is no pre-registration required but pool capacity will be monitored for fun and safety. Animals must have current rabies vaccinations and owners are responsible for their dog's behavior. There will be a "puppy pool" for smaller dogs, a swimsuit contest for the animals, and several rescue groups will be on site. Food and drinks will be available for a minimal fee.

All proceeds benefit the Richardson Animal Shelter.
