Animal Care and Control Center, 4900 Martin Street, Fort Worth, TX 76119

Councilmember Chuck Silcox honorably served the citizens of Fort Worth from 1991 to 2008. Mr. Silcox was a devoted advocate for the humane care and treatment of animals. Because of Mr. Silcox�s noble contributions to the people and pets of Fort Worth, the FW Animal Care and Control Center bears his name. The event will also celebrate the opening of the spay/neuter clinic.

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs.
